Hello and welcome to Netadmin Mattias - what did you do before Netadmin?
I’ve been in IT for 25+ years, but I started out as a sysadmin and, along the way, have worked as a consultant, run my own IT consulting companies, been an IT manager, worked in professional services for a software company, and as an IT architect in the MSP space.
What are you passionate about being a Product Evangelist at Netadmin?
I want to make sure that customer and market input is instrumental in defining the roadmap for the future of Netadmin and getting the message out about Netadmin and how you build wholesale networks to markets that traditionally don’t have that paradigm.
Why did you start working here with us at Netadmin?
I like your attitude and team, and I think the product has a lot of potential.
How did you find out about Netadmin, and what encouraged you to apply for the position here?
I actually didn’t apply.. :) - An old friend was talking to the VP of sales and mentioned that I was available, and he contacted me to ask if I was interested - which I was!

Let’s start easily (or tricky) - how would you describe yourself in three words?
Curious, tenacious, and open-minded.
What's the best career advice you've ever been given?
Surround yourself with good people, and the rest will work out.
What’s your passion outside work - your interests and hobbies?
I am a certified judge and organizer in competition barbecue and spend a lot of time among my grills and smokers. I am also a huge retro computing nerd (primarily Commodore 64) and run an online radio station for the demoscene.
What is played in your headphones?
Everything! This week so far, it’s been UK drum’n’bass, klezmer, Swedish reggae, 90s pop, and some punk classics.

TikTok, Teams, and the alarm clock app, probably. :)
If I could choose one superpower, that would be…
Hearing other people’s thoughts (and them hearing mine) - it would make communicating so much easier.
