Starting with intent-based provisioning, we aim to revolutionize service provisioning and make it simpler than ever to manage networks at a large scale. NextGen Order Orchestration & Service Activation: Implement intent-based provisioning across all layers to seamlessly translate and execute consumer, service, and network intents throughout the process. By adopting a low/no-code approach in configuration, built-in transaction support, and clear separation between layers, we seek to minimize time to market for launching new services, deploying new network technologies, and troubleshooting.

NETCONF/YANG: Implement the future network provisioning protocol, making the most out of transaction-based network configuration across multiple devices, technologies and network layers. This standard does not only ensure consistency and reliability in provisioning but also enables monitoring of the network state on a large scale and simplifies configuration management, unlocking previously difficult tasks within assurance and migration scenarios.

Closed-Loop Automation: Exploration of self-adaptive service fulfillment and assurance processes within B2B, B2C, and B2B2X use cases to ensure the network and services remain at their intended state. ML and AI are key enablers of closed-loop automation, potentially enabling real-time adjustments based on network traffic and other readings to automatically manage disturbances and congestions in order to optimize the end-user experience. The applications of closed-loop automation and Generative AI for fiber operators and CSPs remain, to a large extent, unexplored as we start looking into this area together with customers and partners.
